June Newsletter 2026

Islamic Cultural Centre School Age Group

The children have really engaged in talks we have had this month, over Child Safety Week and the International Day of Play.

The children took part in a Guess the Safety Symbol chat, talking about where we would see these important safety signs in our community.

For International Day of Play we talked about how the children have a Right to Play. How it is important and it helps them to grow, develop and learn. The children drew some of the things that they like to play. They then had fun playing for the rest of the session.

Small Charity Week

22nd - 29th June 2026

You can support small charities by fundraising, making a donation, volunteering your skills, and simply by spreading the word of the charity. This could be telling others about our services at a baby and toddler group. Sharing, liking or commenting on our social media posts. Writing a review about how amazing and beneficial our services are. Any support is always very much appreciated.

Holidays

As the summer holidays begin just a reminder that we have a selection of baby and toddler equipment that you can loan if you are heading off for a Staycation. Travel cots, high chairs, baby monitors, bed guards.

We also have a great selection of smaller games and card games to help keep boredom at bay.

Summer Opening Hours

The project will be closed on the following days due to staff holidays

Friday 10th July

Friday 17th July

Friday 7th August

Wednesday 19th August

Wednesday 26th August

Some opening hours may vary, but we have aimed to keep that minimal.
