Celebrating 23 years (established in 1985) of the Baby Equipment Loan Service ... and 6 years (developed in 2002) of Howdon Toy Library.
The Baby Equipment Loan Service & Toy Library (BELS) provides essential items of baby and safety equipment to families on low income or benefits in the North Tyneside area: Pushchairs, Cots, Safety Gates and Fireguards are a few of the essential items, which are available.
There is also a well stocked Toy Library which is avaliable for children up to 12 years. The musical instrument hire service is available for children up to age 16 studying music at school and loans are on a termly basic.
