What will I have to do to Volunteer alongside Staff?
There are a variety of interesting and sociable roles for Volunteers from welcoming new customers and attending staff meetings, through to choosing toys to buy, administration work, publicising the service and fundraising.
What will I have to do to Volunteer as a Management Committee Member?
To be involved in the Management Committee, you would be expected to attend a monthly meeting which usually lasts no longer than three hours. You will also be given the opportunity of joining a variety of sub groups which ensure the Project is running effectively in areas such as fundraising, finance and policy making.
What will I get in return?
Ongoing support and recognition for all those involved in the Project. Training in areas that will enhance yourself and the work of the Baby Equipment Loan Service & Toy Library. Travel expenses. You will become part of a committed group of people who enable this essential Project to run.
