BELS continues to work alongside local agencies such as local Children's Centres,
the local Primary Care Trust, Children's Services and Social Services to enable us to reach potential service
beneficiaries in the surrounding areas within the community.
Safety talks continue to be a available to parent & toddler groups with the aim of minimising accidents
in the home & raising awareness of safety issues are available upon request.
We work in conjunction with The Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Service making referrals for home risk assessments
and smoke alarms to be fitted free of charge in the home.
The Project is also supported by North Tyneside VODA, who continue to support the project with information,
advice or by signposting potential volunteers.
